Rebranding to create a coherent brand ecosystem
As Trufan recently acquired PLAYR.gg, their challenge was straightforward: finding a visual identity that showcases that they belong to one ecosystem and RDB was excited to take on this challenge.
We started with a brand definition workshop and discussing the brand fundamentals like target audiences, tailored messaging and unique value propositions.
Based on all of this information, we developed moodboards for different visual directions, involving Trufan in several discussion rounds. Our designer team also reworked the PLAYR.gg logo, keeping it consistent with the Trufan key visual by adding the lightning bolt but still keeping the star shape.

We overcame the challenge of finding the balance between a young, dynamic brand identity and one that looks trustworthy and attractive to B2B audiences through the color palette and use of visual elements, such as the lightning bolt.
In the end, we delivered a brand manual that matches Trufan’s ambition to be the leading audience intelligence platform for brands, agencies and influencers.
