Focused on the work of Polarstern, we mimicked it through the design. The created elements (the shape of the logo, the strokes, the dots) are hand-drawn and not perfectly done, they resemble a sketch. This corresponds to the idea of Polarstern’s mission to help young people grow into their potential.
The dynamic and full of life design shows the personal and playful side of Polarstern with the imperfect shapes standing for progress and creation. Besides the shapes, the bold colors symbolize the self-confidence and strength of Polarstern – the social startup is full of young talent and they are determined and know what they are doing.
Therefore the new branding reflects the essence of Polarstern: young, fresh, bold and dynamic.
We are continuing our cooperation with Polarstern, currently working on transforming their business from a social start-up to a social enterprise to become the guiding star with a higher purpose for the next generation.
