Building brands out of people with Maegan Lujan
By Matt Helm
Overcoming adversity to write her own story, literally and figuratively. Brand strategist, Toshiba director and author Maegan Lujan talks with us about building brands for companies and individuals.
In the world of influencers, brand storytelling and female entrepreneurship, Maegan Lujan has honed her craft thanks in no small part to her “never give up attitude”. As a former foster youth on her own at age 14, Maegan hasn’t let herself be defined by the stigma surrounding her upbringing. Rather than fall victim to the instability of her surroundings, Maegan took control of her journey and channeled her energy towards positive growth and self-improvement.
Now, Lujan is taking the skills she’s acquired throughout her career and helping others establish brands for themselves. As she puts it, “I strongly believe in the process of discovering who you are and what you want out of this life and anchoring it on purpose.” She knows what she’s talking about, just check out her resume and the long list of awards she’s been given.
Her insatiable appetite to learn and her desire to motivate and inspire others earned her the following recognitions: 2021 People to Watch by The Cannata Report, 2020 Top 100 Product Marketing Influencers list by the Product Marketing Alliance, Women in Business Award nominations in 2019 and 2020 from The Orange County Business Journal, and 2019 Woman of Influence Award by The Cannata Report.
