Are you experiencing challenges in scaling and growing your business? Milos Perovic, COO of Termovent, shares his insights for growing a company in a meaningful way in our podcast.
Entrepreneurs often face a difficult decision once their business is established — how to expand. Expanding and growing an entrepreneurial venture into a scalable, international business comes with its own pitfalls and potholes to overcome. Our podcast guest, Milos Perovic, has reams of advice when it comes to scaling a business.
Milos Perovic is the COO of Termovent, a family-owned business started by his father and now managed by himself and his brothers. Termovent offers HVAC, engineering, and cleanroom technologies based in the Balkans. Now, Termovent is one of the most successful Eastern European businesses. The company operates in more than 20 countries and has 150 employees. They’re scaling fast, able to reach many different markets including Serbia, Russia, and the Netherlands — generating most of their income from overseas markets.

In this podcast, Milos shares his invaluable advice for entrepreneurs wanting to expand and scale their businesses. Part of this expansion is legacy building; fortifying the business that Milos’ father began.
Termovent is a technical business in the global HVAC equipment marketing and engineering fields. This key market means that Termovent is in demand globally, able to provide companies like Hilton Hotels and Pfizer with cost-effective heating and cooling solutions. This competitive landscape has meant that Termovent is now looking to expand into sustainability in HVAC — a service that would be revolutionary for the industry.
Milos firmly believes that maintaining the original spirit of the company while growing is important, however, he equally understands the importance of structure if the company is going to grow sustainably. Part of the changes made included structuring job titles and positions and defining clear team responsibilities. It’s these changes that Milos attributes to the company’s rapid growth, especially in international markets.
